Tracking the tandem voyages of a mother and daughter into fraught emotional terrain, Argentinian director Paula Hernández examines the ways desire and expectation clash when familial pressures push women to their limits.

The film follows the journey of Ivan, the son of an important Argentine journalist who, after the attack on the Charlie Hebdo newspaper in Paris, goes in search of different geopolitical events and conflicts around the world.

Paula, a magazine journalist, decides to write about motherhood to increase sales. She expresses and establishes why she does not want to be a mother, but fate has something else in mind for her.
